Watch Dogs Midnight Launch Events – When & Where!

Ubisoft’s much delayed and anticipated Watch Dogs launches this Tuesday, and has broken all next-gen pre-order records.

If you’ve not got your copy secured, read on to find which retailers are holding special midnight launch events.

In the US, more than 3500 branches of GameStop will be hosting midnight launch parties on the evening of May 26th.

GameStop has a good history of hosting these kind of events, and customers waiting for the clock to strike midnight can expect entertainment and contests to help pass the time.

Bob Puzon, Senior Vice President of Merchandising says GameStop has seen and taken note of the anticipation surrounding the launch.

“We are seeing tremendous excitement from gaming fans for the new Watch Dogs game,” said Mr Puzon “In fact, Watch Dogs is proving to be the highest pre-ordered next-generation console game we’ve experienced to date. We are planning some exciting activities at our stores to help our fans celebrate the arrival of the Ubisoft game.”

On the other side of the Atlantic, UK gamers can attend midnight launch events at branches of Game.

The high street retailer will be opening over 300 stores for the event, and has a full list of participating venues on its website.

Watch Dogs launches on 27th May, and is available for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
