The NBA season will end the same way it started: with everyone watching to see what the Golden State Warriors do.
After starting the season by winning their first 24 games, the Warriors are now poised to do what many thought was impossible: break the NBA all-time regular season win record of 72 set by Michael Jordan’s ’95-’96 Chicago Bulls.
To do it, they will need to win tonight in the final game of the regular season over the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Grizzlies will have their work cut out for them: they lost by at least 20 points the last 2 times they played the Warriors at home, including a 119-69 loss back in November.
But knowing they can have their own place in history, as the team who stopped the Warriors, may motivate them and give Golden Sate a real run for their money.
