Two And A Half Men Producers Get Last Laugh – Kill Off Sheen’s Character

Two and a Half Men‘s main character, Charlie Harper — played by Charlie Sheen –, will be permanently removed from the show in the premiere episode of the CBS comedy this fall.

According to gossip website TMZ, Sheen’s character Charlie Harper will be written out of the show in a way that will stop him ever coming back – he is to be killed off. The death of Sheen’s character will make room for the introduction of Ashton Kutcher’s character.

There have been claims of one scenario that producers have been considering, which involves Charlie driving his car off a cliff. The show then will reportedly “turn dark” for a few moments when the other characters learn of Charlie’s death. Then Kutcher’s character could come on and buy Charlie’s home.

“Sheen was fired from Two and a Half Men earlier this year, with CBS claiming his ‘statements, conduct and condition prevented him from performing his essential duties’ on the show,” says Yahoo TV. “However, things could be looking up for the troubled star. Radaronline are reporting that he’s signed a deal for a new sitcom with Lionsgate Television.”

Filming for the new series of Two and A Half Men begins this August.
