Last night’s showdown between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens should have a been a close match but ended up being a blowout, with the Ravens winning 26-6.
Baltimore looked impressive after losing to the Bengals in week 1, executing a good passing game and playing fierce defense.
QB Joe Flacco completed 21 of 29 passes for 166 yards, with 2 touchdowns.
The Ray Rice controversy seemed to be a thing of the past, as they were sharp and focused throughout.
Pittsburgh, on the other hand, seemed sloppy and QB Ben Roethlisberger looked lost against the Ravens formidable defense.
The Steelers QB didn’t throw a touchdown pass in the game, marking the 1st time in 31 games he’s failed to do so.
In addition to not having a great passing game, he was just 22 for 37 for 217 yards, he also got shut down on his running game, with 99 yards on 18 carries.
