‘Walking Dead’ fans take heart: there are still months to go until season 5 starts, but there is plenty of ‘Walking Dead’ related news to keep you occupied.
Production has officially begun for season 5 of ‘The Walking Dead’ and executive producer Gale Ann Hurd gave fans a sneak peek at what goes on during filming in a recent interview for AMC.
In reference to season 5 story lines, Hurd would only say that she was really excited to see fan reaction to the premier episode and that the make-up crew has come up with some new looks for the zombies that even surprised the cast when they first saw them.
So basically all the major questions, like where is Beth?… are Gareth and his people cannibals?… and will Rick and his people make it out of the box car?… are still up for debate.
She did however, give fans a feel for how much of a family the cast is by revealing their “Skull Friday” celebrations. Every Friday the cast and crew wear something with a skull on it and she tweets the photos with a #SkullFriday hashtag.
Fans have joined the fun and are tweeting their own skull photos too: it makes them feel a connection with the cast and gives them their “Dead” fix.
Fans can also get a fix by entering The Walking Dead Survive The Summer Sweepstakes. All you have to do is register at The Walking Dead Store by 11:59 P.M. (EST) on Wednesday, May 28 for a chance to win.
