Sprint is added a new phone from Chinese manufacturer ZTE to it’s lineup.

The new handset goes by the name ‘Force’.

Features include a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, a 4-inch display WVGA screen with a resolution of 800 X 480, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal SD storage, a microSD card slot for expansion, a 1730 mAh battery and Android OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Sprint says that users can expect up to 9 hours of talk time. The handset also features 4G LTE connectivity and NFC.

However, the absence of the latest Android OS, Jelly Bean, is a bummer.

Sprint is offering the Force handset for $49.99, after the rebates. Customers would have to sign a 2-year contract with the carrier to get their hands on the device at that price.

The two plans that are suitable for the handset include Simply Everything ($109.99) and Everything Data ($79.99/99.99).

The device would also be available through Sprint’s prepaid brand Boost Mobile, with no contract, at $199.99.

the ZTE Forice will be available starting March 7, according to Sprint.
