If you’re looking to take a break from cooking this Thanksgiving (or want to give your spouse/parent or grandparent’s a break) then you’re in luck because a number of restaurants are open Thanksgiving Day.
Some even offer take-out/take-home options, so you can watch some football while feasting on a delicious feast.
Below, you’ll find a list of the restaurants open in the NY/NJ/PA area, along with their hours and prices.
Chain restaurants, such as Applebee’s, are open nationwide, though hours may vary.
We’ve also included links to their sites and reservation info for those that require it.
Applebee’s: Most locations will be open on Thanksgiving, but ours will vary according to location, so check your local restaurant. Also, ask about reservations.
Boston Market: They will be open all-day on Thanksgiving and will serve traditional holiday foods. They also have a take-home heat and serve option, featuring all the Turkey Day staples.
Cracker Barrel: They will be open from 6 A.M-10 P.M. EST on Thanksgiving, offering a “Turkey N Dressing” meal for $11.99.
Denny’s: Denny’s is open 24-hours, including Thanksgiving.
Golden Corral: They will host a Thanksgiving buffet ($13.99 for adults and seniors) from 11 A.M.-7 P.M. EST in most locations. Prices and hours might vary, so check the restaurant near you.
Hooters: Most restaurants will be open, but hours will vary so check with a Hooter’s near you.
IHOP: They will be open 24-hours on Thanksgiving.
Maggiano’s Little Italy: They will have a special four-course meal on Thanksgiving, with private rooms available for those who want a more intimate setting. Carry-out meals are also available. Reservations are suggested.
McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood & Steaks: They will be open on Thanksgiving and serving a roasted turkey dinner for $24.99.
Ruby Tuesday: Open from 11 A.M-9 P.m. EST on Thanksgiving.
Ruth’s Chris Steak House: Most locations will open at noon on Thanksgiving Day , with a special menu for around $40 per adult and $12.95 for kids.
Sizzler: Open 11 A.M.-7 P.M. EST and will serve regular menu items as well as a special Thanksgiving dinner.
