NBA Finals: Dallas Mavericks Will Look To Clinch Championship

The sixth game of the NBA Finals will be played this Sunday between the Dallas Mavericks and the Miami Heat. While the Mavericks are up 3-2, the good news for the Heat is that they host both this and the seventh game in the tournament.

Interestingly, the final this year seems to be following the same pattern as the one in 2010. The Los Angeles Lakers hosted the first two games at home but managed to win and lose one before their opposition Celtics had lost their home game – the third of the season. Boston, then, came back to win the next two to make it 3-2 and the pattern has been quite similar this season.

What needs to be seen is whether the Heat will be able to repeat what the Lakers did last year in the NBA Finals – win the sixth encounter to level it at 3-3.

The games have been well fought so far, with the best margin of win being the nine-point victory for the Mavericks in the Game 5. It was the 29 points from Dirk Nowitzki’s stable that turned the tables in the favour of his side.

The Heat will believe that Dwyane Wade could be the player to lead the resurrection for them.
