Michael Jackson’s new album has been set for a December 14 release. The announcement of its release has been accompanied by surprising allegations from the Jackson family.
The bizarreness of his life appears to be continuing after his untimely, and unfortunate, death.
Jackson’s family is saying that songs on the album are being sung by imposters. The allegations were made today on ABC news.
Sony, who is releasing the album, has responded by saying they have had voice specialists document the authenticity of Michael Jackson’s voice on the album. Sony is guaranteeing that Michael Jackson recorded the songs on the album. Michael’s son, Prince, is said to be the only witness to many of the recordings. According to him, the tracks on the album from Sony are fake.
Brian Oxman, attorney for Michael Jackson’s family, added “The songs which are being released on the new Michael Jackson album were unfinished and incomplete tracks that Michael said over and over many times he never wanted released. We should honor Michael Jackson’s wishes, the new album contains music and additions which were not part of what Michael initially recorded.”
The first single from the album is set to be revealed later this month. Michael Jackson is the highest earning dead celebrity of 2010.
