iPad Mini Revealed – Specs, Pricing & Details

After a lot of hide and seek, Apple has finally revealed the iPad Mini.

The Apple iPad Mini will have a 7.9 inch display screen – which will not be Apple’s Retina Display. However, the iPad Mini will have a resolution of 1024-by-768, which is the same as the iPad 2.

The Apple iPad Mini is powered by a dual core A5 chip and Apple claims the tablet has a battery life of 10 hours on a single charge.

The iPad Mini has two cameras. There’s the front facing FaceTime HD camera, which can be used for video calls and is capable of recording in 720p HD. The second is a 5 mega pixel iSight camera located on the back. It’s capable of full HD recording with automatic video stabilization for shake free videos.

The iPad Mini supports dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) 802.11n Wi-Fi and supports channel bonding, with LTE support as well.

The Apple iPad Mini will be available for $329 for the basic 16GB version, $429 for the 32GB version, and $529 for the 64GB version.

The WiFi + Cellular version will be priced at $459 for the 16GB version, $559 for the 32GB version, and $659 for the 64GB version.

Pre-orders for the Apple iPad Mini will begin on October 26, 2012. The WiFi model will be available for purchase starting November 2, 2012. The WiFi plus Cellular model will be available around mid November.
