This mornings webcast of the HTC One M8 (HTC One 2) did not disappoint, revealing that starting today at 1 PM the smartphone will be available online.
Jason Mackenzie, president of HTC Americas confirmed that the M8 will be available today, but only online.
You can find the phone on AT&T.com, Sprint, Verizon, Bell, T-Mobile and Telus websites as of today.
The phone will be in U.S. stores by April 10.
This is the first time a smartphone has launched and been available for purchase on the same day.
The HTC M8 will be available in over 230 carriers and 100 countries.
The M8 boasts a sleek new metal design, quad-core processor an updated Sense 6 interface and what are said to be powerful dual rear-facing cameras.
They have also taken the Zoe feature from the original HTC One and made it an app on the M8
Mackenzie also said that in order to provide their customers with the best possible service current users of the current HTC One, Mini or Max would receive software updates and get the Sense 6 later this spring.
In addition, they will fix a broken display within the first 6 months of purchase, including for the new M8.
