Google Inc. has unveiled Zavers, a digital coupon service that connects digital coupons directly to frequent shopper rewards cards.
Zavers may eventually eliminate the need to clip, save, and remember coupons. Maybe.
Zavers is a free service. Shoppers can sign up on Zavers.com from any mobile device with an internet connection (according to the FAQ on Zavers.com).
Zavers allows shoppers to save coupons from their website for use at participating retailers. At this time there are 11 participating retailers, with plans to expand to other major retailers in the coming months.
Here is a list of the currently participating retailers:
- The Food Emporium
- Harris Teeter
- Price Chopper Northeast
We created a profile on Zavers.com and found the login process to be frustrating. We were going in circles. Once all information was input completely and accurately, we still weren’t logged in. After repeating the process 3 times we still got the same results.
Shoppers might want to wait to sign up for the Zavers until the bugs are worked out of the system.
Watch for more about Zavers.com here on NFS… after we manage to log in to the new coupon service.
