Fisher-Price has issued a voluntary recall on over 3,000 of their infant cradle swings due to the risk of falling.
The company is reporting that on some models the seat peg may not be secure, causing the seat to unexpectedly fall, which may injure the child.
As of now there are no injuries to report.
There are 3 models included in the recall: the CHM84 Soothing Savanna Cradle ‘n Swing; the CMR40 Sweet Surroundings Cradle ‘n Swing; and the CMR43 Sweet Surroundings Butterfly Friends Cradle ‘n Swing.
You can find the product number for the swing on the seat under the pad.
The cradles in question were sold between November 2015 through March 2016 nationwide through buybuyBaby, Target, and other retail outlets; they were also sold online through Amazon.com and on other websites.
Consumers with questions or concerns can contact Fisher-Price at 800-432-5437 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST Monday through Friday, or online at www.service.mattel.com (click on Recalls & Safety Alerts).
