The Retina 5K iMac is now available in the ‘Apple Certified Refurbished‘ section of the company’s online store.
Apple announced the Retina version of their iMac in October of last year. The new model combines Retina screen resolution technology with the popular Apple desktop.
The Apple Certified Refurbished program recycles used devices, such as iPods, iPads, and Apple notebooks and desktops, and sells them at a discounted price, usually 15-17% off their retail price. Refurbished products are tested and certified by Apple and include a 1-year warranty. Any faulty parts are replaced, and the devices are thoroughly cleaned to a ‘like-new’ condition.
Currently, the Retina 5K iMac is only available on the Apple refurbished store in a 3.5GHz Quad-core Intel Core i5 processor, 27-inch model. It is available for $2,119.00, which is $380 off the original price.
