Amazon Kindle 3G To Be Given Away Free This Week

An Amazon Kindle 3G is up for grabs in Amazon’s latest weekly sweepstakes. Also included with the Kindle will be a  lighted leather cover and a $50 Amazon gift card. The gift card can be used for the purchase of Kindle e-books or other Amazon products.

Amazon has been holding weekly sweepstakes since the last week of April. The prize changes each week. The first week’s prize was a Motorola XOOM Android Tablet. During the second week, a package prize of a KitchenAid Artisan 5-Quart Stand Mixer, a Ginsu 8-Piece Knife Set, and a Totally Bamboo 3-Piece Cutting Board Set was given away. Last week a home theater package including a Roku XDS Streaming Player 1080p and a Panasonic 42-inch 1080p Plasma HDTV was won. This week it’s the Kindle 3G package.

Over the next few weeks, Amazon will have a camping package, a photography package, and a gaming package as weekly sweepstakes prizes. The Amazon Prime A-Z Sweepstakes, as they are calling the contest, ends June 19th. However, to qualify for this week’s Kindle 3G giveaway, the deadline for entries is May 22.

Contestants enter the sweepstakes by going to www.facebook.com/Amazon and clicking on the ‘sweepstakes’ tab (if needed), and then clicking the ‘like’ button to ‘like’ the page. Then they can complete the entry form. There is a limit of one entry per person/email per week. To enter the contest, contestants must allow Amazon to access basic information from their Facebook account, including name, gender, friends list and more (info that the Facebook user has set to share with ‘everyone’).
