Five Arrested In Columbia University Drug Bust

A Columbia University drug bust led to the arrest of five students who sold the narcotics to undercover police officers.

Christopher Coles, Harrison David, Adam Klein, Stephan Vincenzo and Michael Wymbs are all 20 years old and were all charged with a variety of drug offenses. The off-campus suppliers to the five were also arrested in the bust.

Since July undercover officers are said to have purchased almost $11,000 worth of drugs from the five students. The drugs included cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy, Adderall and LSD. The majority of the sales were alleged to have taken place in the Alpha Epsilon Pi, Pi Kappa Alpha and Psi Upsilon fraternities.

Some of the students claim to have sold the drugs to help with tuition costs.

During a search of the students’ rooms officers seized a bottle of LSD, 50 ecstasy capsules, 15 Adderall pills, half a pound of marijuana and $6,600 in cash.

The student were being held in jail under bonds ranging from $30,000 to $75,000.
