Here are the key matches to watch for:

Serena Williams-vs-Varvara Lepchenko: match play after 1 P.M. (EST), Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Wiliams has been on a tear during this Open and this match should help her to continue her domination.

Williams has played Lepchenko twice- winning both matches, the last on this year in Rome.

Lepchenko is a solid player, just not in the same class as Williams

Williams in straight sets: 6-2, 6-2.

The other women’s match to watch in the women’s group are Barbora Zahlavova Strycova-vs-Eugene Bouchard (match play at 7 P.M. (EST) and Petra Kvitova-vs-Aleksandra Krunic (match play at 11 A.M. (EST).

Novak Djokovic-vs-Sam Querrey: (match play after 1 P.M. (EST), Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Querrey is coming off a solid, but surprising  round 2  win after beating Guillermo Garcia-Lopez, but it’s highly unlikely that will happen against Djokovic.

The two have met 8 times in the past, with Djokovic winning 7 of those 8 meetings- expect the same outcome today.

Djokovic  in 4: 6-4, 7-6, 6-3, 6-3.

Fans will also want to watch Andy Murray play Andrey Kuznetsov (match play after 11 A.M. (EST).

Here are the highlights from day 5:

For the women, there were a few upsets as Sara Errani knocked Venus Williams out of the tournament, winning  6-0, 0-6,  7-6 and Mirjana Lucic- Maroni eliminated Simona Halep 7-6, 6-2.

Maria Sharapova, however, continued her smooth style of play, beating Sabine Lisicki easily, 6-2, 6-4.

For the men Rodger Federer beat Sam Groth as expected in straight sets 6-4, 6-4, 6-4.
