World Series 2014: Giants vs Royals: TV Schedule/Live Stream/Game 1 Score & Game 2 Preview

After losing their first game of the playoffs by a crushing 7-1 margin the Kansas City Royals will look to bounce back in game 2 of the 2014 World Series, which takes place tonight.

Coverage begins on Fox with the pregame show at 7:30 P.M. (EST), followed by first pitch at 8:07 P.M. (EST).

Fox has exclusive rights to the series and will be the only channel airing the games.

Live streaming will also be available for the first time ever through MLB.TV. This service is free for current MLB.TV subscribers, but will require a subscription for everyone else who is eligible.

You can access the live stream through your home computer or when your on the go from almost any device with the MLB.com AT Bat app, which is free to download.

Eligible subscribers can sign up for just $9.99 and will receive the first month of MLB.TV 2015 for free when they do.  This is a nice bonus for fans who’s teams are not competing in the series, as they can stream their home teams games next year.

In order to be eligible you must have a current subscription service with a qualifying Pay TV Partner.  The company’s that are participating are: Time Warner Cable, Verizon FiOS, DIRECTV, Optimum, AT&T U-verse TV, COX, BrightHouse Networks, Buckeye, Arvig, WOW!, Suddenlink and Consolidated Communications.

San Fransisco’s pitcher, Bumgarner, was once again brilliant, shutting down the Royals offense and helping ensure the Giants game 1 win.

Royals pitcher James Shields, on the other hand, struggled once again, digging a hole for his team that they could not climb out of.

Game 2 will hopefully show a revitalized Royals offense behind their starter, Yordano Vetura, who is unproven, but did a great job against the Angels in game 2 of the ALDS.

With the Giants starting Jake Peavy, who has a postseason era of over 7, this is a good opportunity for the Royals to even the playing field and take back home field advantage.

Look for Toronto to win, 4-1.

Who do you think will take game 2.  Tell us who you think it will be and why below.
