World Series 2014: Giants vs Royals Game 3 : TV Schedule/Live Stream &Preview

It’s all tied up at a game a piece as we head into game 3 of the 2014 World Series, which takes place tonight at AT&T Park in San Francisco, California.

Coverage begins on Fox with the pregame show at 7:30 P.M. (EST), followed by first pitch at 8:07 P.M. (EST).

Fox has exclusive rights to the series and will be the only channel airing the games.

Live streaming will also be available for the first time ever through MLB.TV. This service is free for current MLB.TV subscribers, but will require a subscription for everyone else who is eligible.

You can access the live stream through your home computer or when your on the go from almost any device with the MLB.com AT Bat app, which is free to download.

Eligible subscribers can sign up for just $9.99 and will receive the first month of MLB.TV 2015 for free when they do.  This is a nice bonus for fans who’s teams are not competing in the series, as they can stream their home teams games next year.

In order to be eligible you must have a current subscription service with a qualifying Pay TV Partner.  The company’s that are participating are: Time Warner Cable, Verizon FiOS, DIRECTV, Optimum, AT&T U-verse TV, COX, BrightHouse Networks, Buckeye, Arvig, WOW!, Suddenlink and Consolidated Communications.

With games 3, 4 & 5 taking place in their home park it would seem the Giants have the advantage, but after the way they lost in game 2 that doesn’t seem to be the case.

For the 1st time in these playoffs Giants pitching could not shut down their opponent and their hitters couldn’t get the hits they needed in their 7-2 loss to the Royals.

To make matters worse reliever Tim Lincecum, who was the only pitcher that looked sharp and retired all 5 batter he faced, left the game with back spasms and is now questionable.

This, coupled with outfielder Travis Ishikawa’s glaring limitations could prove disastrous for them.

The Royals, meanwhile, have momentum on their side and a squad that can hurt you in a variety of ways, as they are brilliant at playing small ball.

They also have an advantage tonight with veteran pitcher Jeremy Guthrie on the mound for them; San Fran has Tim Hudson starting.

Hudson is known to give up bases (22 steals in 26 attempts over 2 years), which could help the Royals get the runs they need.

It will all come down to who cans stop the other team from scoring.

My prediction: Royals 4-Giants 2.
