Wimbledon 2014: Day 5 TV Schedule/Streaming/ Match-ups & Predictions

Day 5 of Wimbledon could be one of the most intriguing yet with the men’s #1 seed, Novak Djokovic and the women’s #2 seed, Li Na, both seeing action.

ESPN will bring you a full day’s worth of coverage from 7 A.M. (EST) to 5 P.M. (EST).

Djokovic has played strong since losing in the finals of the 2014 French open and is expected to win his match against Giles Simon.

Their match is scheduled for 1 P.M. (EST) on Centre Court.

He won his 1st round match against Andrey Golubev in straight sets: 6-0, 6-1, 6-4.

In round 2 fans were on the edge of their seats as he beat a much tougher opponent, Radek Stepanek, in a real thriller: 6-4, 6-3, 6-7 (5-7), 7-6 (7-5).

On the women’s side Li Na,the #2 seed, has been playing some of her best tennis at the age of 32 and is favored to win her match against Barbora Zahlalova Strycova.

Their match is scheduled for 1 P.M. (EST) on NO.1 Court

Na won her opening round match against the venerable Paula Kania: 7-5, 6-2  and her 2nd round match against the equally tough Yvonne Meusburger: 6-2, 6-2.
