Why December Is A Great Month To Buy A New Vehicle

December is fast becoming a boon month in the automotive industry.

As the year end is fast approaching, dealerships are more eager to unload old inventory, and boost the year sales totals before reporting back to their head offices.

Also with the addition of Black Friday deals and Boxing week blow outs, December is a fantastic time for getting a sweet deal on your next vehicle.

And it’s not only manufactures who offer incentives. Individual dealers are lowering prices and offer extras on top of the manufacturer offers.

For example, Canadian Buick dealers are offering up to $2000.00 in holidays credits. That breaks down as $1500.00 December Holiday credit and an additional $500.00 Boxing week credit, good until January 2, 2015.

Ford Canada has some great incentives, with financing as low as 0% and up to $10,000.00 in clear-out cash, plus an extra $750.00 off until January 2,2015($500.00 on small cars) on most new 2104 models and some 2015’s.

Honda Canada if offering up to $3000.00 in cash incentives on some models, plus a $500.00 holiday bonus.

In the US Chevrolet is offering up to 20% cash back on the MSRP. That works outs to $4250.00 on a 2014 Cruze LT; $6500.00 on a 2014 Impala LT; $8500.00 on a 2014 Camaro SS.

On a 2014 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab All Star 4WD: $2,000 Trade Assistance, $3,500 Total Cash Allowance, $3,250 Below MSRP, and $750 Option Package Discount for a total $9500.00 off.

Subaru US is offering various low interest rates ranging from 0.0-1.95%. 0% is offered on 2014 Outback’s; 0.9% on 2014 BRZ.

So while many may not be looking for anything beyond toys and gifts, it really is a great time of year to visit your local dealers.
