Walmart Now Offers Online Grocery Shopping In Some Locations

In an interesting move, Walmart has been testing the viability of offering customers the option of placing online grocery orders. To be clear, customers merely order their groceries online, they must then drive to a the store to collect them.

This project is available in SanJose, California, Phoenix, Arizona, Huntsville, Alabama, Denver, Colorado and Bentonville, Arkansas. The Bentonville location is using a remote pick-up store, not the actual Walmart Store.

In an attempt to get more customers to try the new service, Walmart is offering a $10 discount on your first order of $50 or more at some stores.

What are your thoughts? Would you order your groceries in much the same way you order a pizza?
