The Walking Dead, S2, On Netflix – We Finally Have A Date!

The Walking Dead, season 2, is finally coming to Netflix streaming!

We’ve been waiting for this one with bated breath for a while now. Season 3 will be hitting AMC on October 14th – and we just gotta watch season 2 again before it premiers.

Ok, here’s the big reveal: The Walking Dead, season 2 will be available on Netflix streaming starting September 30th. They’ll have the whole season’s worth, starting from season 2, episode 1 “What Lies Ahead,” all the way through season 2, episode 13 “Beside the Dying Fire.”

Didn’t you love the ending of last season’s finale where she was saved by…. oh, you haven’t seen it yet? Never mind!

So there’ll be 14 days between TWD S2 arriving on Netflix and the premier of season 3 on AMC. And of course, this is where AMC would like us to remind you that “The Walking Dead is not available on DISH”. Yeh – they are still battling that one out (we first reported on the tiff back in June).

In case you are unaware of it, there was a series of Walking Dead webisodes released between seasons 1 and 2. They are called The Walking Dead: Torn Apart (and yeh, that certainly happens in zombie land, eh?). The webisodes are still on AMC’s site. There are rumors that another webisode series will be released before the start of S3, but we don’t have any official word on that from AMC, and there’s nothing online yet.

Now it’s time to turn it over to you!

What do you think of the show? Are you going to have a marathon zombie party when S2 arrives on Netflix?  Did you ever think of yourself as someone who would like a zombie show? Leave your comments below!
