The Gambler, The Wedding Ringer & Wild – Now At Redbox

This week’s Redbox releases include The Gambler, The Wedding Ringer, Wild, Paddington, Island of Lemurs: Madagascar, and 50 To 1.

The Gambler is the 2014 crime drama about a professor and gambler whose debt causes him to borrow money from a gangster and offer his own life as insurance.

The Gambler stars Mark Wahlberg, Jessica Lange, John Goodman, Brie Larson, and Michael K. Williams.

The Wedding Ringer is the 2015 comedy about a groom-to-be who hires the owner of a company that provides best men for weddings to portray his best man.

The Wedding Ringer stars Kevin Hart, Josh Gad, Kaley Cuoco, Affion Crockett, and Jorge Garcia.

Next up is the biographical drama Wild, starring Reese Witherspoon.

Based on the 2012 Cheryl Strayed memoir Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail, the film tells the story of one woman’s 1,100-mile hike in order to recover from years of reckless, destructive behavior.

Laura Dern, Tom Sadoski, Michiel Huisman, and Gaby Hoffmann co-star in Wild.

Paddington is the 2014 family comedy featuring Paddington Bear, the well-known bear character in children’s fictional literature.

In the film, after traveling to London, Paddington finds himself lost –until he meets the Brown family, who offers him a temporary home.

Paddington stars Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, and Nicole Kidman (in live-action roles) and features the voice of Ben Whishaw as Paddington Bear.

Island of Lemurs: Madagascar is the 2014 nature documentary about Dr. Patricia C. Wright’s ongoing mission to help highly-endangered lemurs survive in the modern world.

Island of Lemurs: Madagascar is narrated by Morgan Freeman.

Last but not least this week is 50 To 1, the 2014 drama based on the true story of Mine That Bird, an undersized thoroughbred racehorse that won the 2009 Kentucky Derby.

50 To 1 stars Skeet Ulrich, Christian Kane, William Devane, Madelyn Deutch, and Todd Lowe.
