The CW & CBS Reveal Premiere Dates for Fall 2014

Television networks are announcing the premiere dates for the fall 2014 schedule.

The CW will start out their fall broadcasting with two previously aired episodes of “Arrow.”

These episodes set the groundwork for their new show, “The Flash,”  based on the DC comic about scientist Barry Allen who gains the power of speed.

The episodes will air on October 1.

On October 2 the premieres of “The Vampire Diaries,” season six, and “Reign,” season two, will air.

“The Originals” will begin their second season on October 6 followed by a special retrospective episode of “Supernatural.”

“The Flash” starts its series premiere on October 7 followed by the beginning of “Supernatural’s” tenth season.

The third season of “Arrow” premieres October 8.

“The 100,” CW’s newest TV show, set 97 years after a nuclear war has destroyed civilization, will air on October 22.

CBS has also announced their fall schedule, starting with “The Good Wife,” on September 21.

On September 22, The Big Bang Theory, which has been renewed for three more seasons, will begin its eighth season. “Under the Dome” will also air its season two finale that same evening.

On the September 23, NCIS begins its twelfth season, followed by CSI on the 28th.

On September 30, “Two and a Half Men” and “Elementary” start their new seasons as well as the series premiere of “The McCarthys,” CBS’s new comedy about a tight-knit Irish-Catholic family.
