St. Vincent, Lucy & The Boxtrolls – Now At Redbox

This week’s Redbox releases include St. Vincent, Lucy, The Boxtrolls, The Drop, The Homesman, and Dying Of The Light.

St. Vincent is the 2014 dramedy about a boy who becomes friends with his rude, hedonistic next-door neighbor after his parents divorce.

Bill Murray, Melissa McCarthy, Chris O’Dowd, Naomi Watts, and Jaeden Lieberher star in St. Vincent.

Lucy is the 2014 sci-fi action flick about an ordinary young woman who gains extraordinary abilities after a highly valuable synthetic drug is released into her system.

Scarlett Johansson, Morgan Freeman, Choi Min-shik, Amr Waked, and Julian Rhind-Tutt star in Lucy.

The Boxtrolls is the 2014 animated comedy about a young boy raised by trash-collecting trolls who tries to save his friends from an evil pest exterminator.

The film is based on the novel Here Be Monsters! by Alan Snow.

The Boxtrolls features the voices of Ben Kingsley, Toni Collette, Elle Fanning, Isaac Hempstead-Wright, and Jared Harris.

The Drop is the 2014 crime drama based on the Dennis Lehane short story Animal Rescue about a bartender who finds himself in the middle of a robbery gone wrong.

Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace, Matthias Schoenaerts, John Ortiz and the late James Gandolfini star in The Drop.

Next up is The Homesman, the 2014 period drama based on the 1988 novel of same name by Glendon Swarthout.

In the film, a highly independent woman employs a low-life to help her transport three women battling mental health issues across the country.

Hilary Swank, Tommy Lee Jones, Meryl Streep, Tim Blake Nelson, and James Spader star in The Homesman.

Finally this week is Dying of the Light, the 2014 thriller film about a veteran CIA agent who goes rogue in order to find the terrorist who tortured him years ago.

Nicolas Cage, Anton Yelchin, Alexander Karim, Irene Jacob, and Adetomiwa Edun star in Dying of the Light.

Additional Redbox releases this week include After The Fall, The Interview, Nocturnal Agony, Stephen King’s A Good Marriage, and The Last House On Cemetary Lane.
