Sprint’s New All In Plan Offers Unlimited Everything Plus a Phone for $80

Sprint Corp has announced its latest offering called “All In” plan, a new program that offers unlimited talk, text and data at $60 per month plus $20 per month to lease phones like the iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S6.

The plan comes with a one-time activation fee of $36 and will be out on Tuesday with a promotional video campaign starring soccer star David Beckham. This will run until August 6, 2015.

The basic All In plan comes with a 32GB Galaxy S6 or a One M9. For additional $25 per month there is an option to upgrade to 64GB Galaxy S6 model and $30 per month for the 128GB version. The phone lease will run for 24 months.

One thing that might be turn off heavy users is the fine print on Sprint’s website saying that “Streaming video speeds limited to 3G.”

Sprint is very eager to woo more subscribers these days. They’ve come up with strategies like cutting subscriber’s bills in half to encourage switching, increasing the data capacity, and providing a hand delivery service for new phones.

Lately the industry has changed its customary two-year contracts for subsidized phones to the offer of monthly leasing plans together with service fees.

This change has not just led to a price war between Sprint and its competition including T-Mobile US Inc., AT&T Inc. and Verizon Communications, but also boosted the level of promotions and rate plans.
