Slice Online Shopping Tracker Now Available On Android

Slice is now available as an Android app.

The app, which allows a shopper to track their online purchases, became available on Google’s newly renamed app store, Google Play, late last week. It’s been popular with Apple users at the iTunes store for a while now.

The app is free and has already recorded between 5000 to 10,000 installs at Google Play, according to its profile page. It currently has an overall rating of 4.4 (out of 5) stars with a total of 185 user ratings.

The app tracks a shopper’s shipments automatically. It can track multiple shipments and display them together on a map. This allows the shopper to take one look at the app to see the shipping status and current locations of the items they have purchased online. The app can also alert the shopper when packages are shipped and when they are delivered.

Slice also provides for backups of e-receipts, tracks Groupons, Living Social and Gilt City vouchers, and notifies the shopper of recent price drops (many stores offer a credit or refund if the price drops on a recently purchased product).

Slice does only work if the shopper is using Yahoo Mail or Gmail. The app is available here.
