SDCC 2016: Walking Dead Season 7 Trailer & Premier Date: Watch It Here

The Walking Dead panel just took place at SDCC, revealing that the show will return for season 7 on Sunday, October 23 at 9 P.M. EST for anther 16-episode run.

They also revealed the official season 7 trailer- you can view it below- and as expected, it didn’t reveal anything about who killed Negan.

Not that we’re surprised; after all the cloak and dagger moves the show pulled during filming to ensure that information didn’t get out, I would have been beyond shocked if the trailer gave anything away.

And not that it will stop me, and countless other fans, from searching for hidden clues and deciphering every frame.

As executive producer Gale Anne Hurd said recently when asked why Melissa McBride wasn’t appearing at SDCC : ““I think they [the fans] read everything into the tea leaves at this point.”

But isn’t that half the fun of being a Walking Dead fan?

Besides, the trailer, which runs 3:06 second, did give us clues about other events, including our first look at the community known as “The Kingdom,” led by Ezekiel and his pet tiger, Shiva (which I am very excited about).

It also shows Negan looking quite cozy in what appears to be Alexandria and is a quite powerful trailer.

Do you think the trailer reveals any clues?
