Saving Mr. Banks Trailer Hits The Web – Here It Is!

Tom Hanks as Walt Disney and Emma Thompson as P.L. Travers in Saving Mr.Banks

Yesterday, the first image to Saving Mr.Banks hit the web.

Now,the first trailer has arrived.

The film follows the story of author P.L Travers as she collaborates with Walt Disney to bring her story, Mary Poppins, to motion pictures.

The film looks to capture the complications of making the movie, as well the complexity of Travers’ character.

The  trailer certainly shows off both the story and the roles of Emma Thompson and Tom Hanks. In fact, it is almost certain that both actors’ performances will be the highlight of the movie.

The trailer feature a variety of humorous  moments, which is more than expected in a Disney film. However along with the humor is the drama  that mostly surrounds P.L Travers. Judging by the preview, it would not be shocking to see this film nominated when awards season comes around

Also in the bio-pic are the likes of   Paul Giamatti, Jason Schwartzman, B.J. Novak, Rachel Griffiths, Colin Farrell, Bradley Whitford, Kathy Baker and Ronan Vibert. Together with Emma Thompson and Tom Hanks, they bring a new perspective on not only a Disney classic, but the creator of the studio and his relationship with the renowned author.

Will Saving Mr. Banks be as successful as Mary Poppins? We will see when this biographical film arrives in theaters December 13th.

And now: the trailer to Saving Mr.Banks
