Samsung’s New Flip Smartphone

Samsung has officially released their newest smartphone – but only in China.

Apparently, from the looks the of the phone, it’s very retro – a “flip” phone. It doesn’t look to be coming our way any time soon.

Samsung reportedly has no immediate plans of bringing the phone to the US.

That doesn’t mean they won’t. Samsung has a tendency to test their new products in the Chinese market, to only bring them into the other markets much later if the products are successful.

It’s called the “Hennessey” and it comes with two 3.3 inch, 320 by 480, touchscreens.

The phone is equipped with 1 GB RAM and a 1.2 GHz quad core processor. Samsung has given the phone their chatting app as well. It’s running on 4.1 Jelly Bean and has a built-in GPS system.

A flip smartphone is a real high-risk, high-reward type scenario.

We’ve already been through that era and put it to rest; however, Samsung seems to think people, at lease in China, will buy them.

You can expect that if things in the Chinese market look to be promising that this phone will be made available in our locations.
