NIssan Recalls 470,000 Vehicles For Possible Fuel Leak

470,000 Nissan and Infinity vehicles are going to be recalled in January 2015.

The recall is a preventative measure stemming from possible fuel leaks.

The culprit is a fuel pressure sensor that may not have been tightened correctly during assembly.

In the North American market the affected 134,000 vehicles include: 2012-2014 Nissan Juke, 2014-2015 Infinity QX70 and QX80 SUV,s, 2012-2013 Infinity M56 sedan and QX56 SUV.

Globally, in addition to the vehicles mentioned above, any 2011-2014 Nissan Patrol, Serena, X-Trail, Tilda, and Pulsar, are also to be recalled.

The repair is simple, the sensor will be tightened, by the dealer.

Interestingly this issue has occurred before. In 2012 some of these same vehicles were already recalled.

If you own one of the mentioned vehicles, be sure to have this free repair done, so as to avert any chance of fire.
