M. Night Shyamalan’s “Wayward Pines” Series To Air In May

M. Night Shyamalan’s “Wayward Pines” Series To Air In May

M. Night Shyamalan, the director who brought us ‘The Sixth Sense’, ‘The Happening’, and to some surprise, screenwriter of ‘Stuart Little’, has a new, psychological thriller, ‘Wayward Pines’ airing on Fox this May.

Fox is showing the series’ pilot in 125 countries as a day-and-date launch.

The 10 episode series of ‘Wayward Pines’ will air May 14th, at 9:00 ET/PT. Simultaneously airing across countries likes: Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe and Latin America.

This is big news as it will be the biggest day-and-date launch of a scripted TV series ever!

While Shaymalan has had huge hits and huge misses in the past, this genre and medium might be right up his ally. Hopefully he can infuse the best parts of his storytelling technique and make this a truly great TV thriller.

Matt Dillion will star as a Secret Service agent on a mission to find two missing federal agents in the town of Wayward Pines, Idaho. Staring along side Dillion are: Melissa Leo, Terrence Howard, Carla Gugino, Shannyn Sossamon, Toby Jones, Reed Diamond, Tim Griffin, Charlie Tahan and  Juliette Lewis.

Comment below, and let us know if you plan on tuning in to see if M. Night Shyamalan can pull off a great series. We’d love to hear what you think!
