Fame and glamour isn’t enough for Bieber to be treated differently to any other teenager or entitle him to receive special privileges from his mother. Ask any teenager if they have sneaked behind their parents back to catch a special moment with their girlfriend? There’ll be a few blushing faces but I bet there won’t be too many with their hands down.
Paparazzi were quick on the mark when photographs of Justin Bieber getting all touchy-feely on a yacht trip in St Lucia with his new sweetheart Selena Gomez were splashed all over the Internet.
But this wasn’t Bieber’s only problem. His born again Christian mum, Pattie Lynn, was on the next plane to the St Lucia to pry her son Justin Bieber from Selena Gomez and ground him. Luckily for Gomez she was already on a plane heading home before his mother landed.
Mrs Bieber had insisted Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were to stay in separate villas on their recent New Year holiday in St Lucia.
This isn’t the first time Bieber has been grounded and he doesn’t hesitate to let everyone know how his mother disciplines him. Last month Justin Bieber moaned when he announced his mother had cancelled his phone plan, claiming it was harsh. They got into an argument over something small and she stood her ground.
But Bieber’s recent grounding is the least of Selena Gomez’s problems at the moment.
Obsessive Bieber Fever has reached new levels. Just hours after the photos of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez cuddling and kissing on a yacht, Bieber fans hit Twitter to express their outrage.
Former prosecutor, Robin Sax, spoke to E! News on Thursday and warned Tweeters that serious death threats could result in jail time. He said “the threats were delivered over the Internet…which means federal jurisdiction. If the bullying continues, or worsens, or grows more frequent or specific, then Gomez could file a police report and get the ball rolling on an FBI investigation.”
