Today, the company announced through a blog post that the entire Instagram feed would be available on the web.
This means people won’t have to use their smartphone Instagram app for viewing their feed. They can just log in to the web app to do so.
Users will also be able to see the photos of Instagramers they follow.
The web app has been optimized to work both on desktop and mobile phone browsers. It’s quite similar to the Instagram app smartphones and tablets. The web app also gives the option to like photos and comment on content in real-time.
However, there’s on major thing that can’t be done. Users won’t be able to upload photos through the web app. The company stated the app is for making the browsing experience faster and much more enjoyable.
Opening the URL: http://instagram.com will show the web app in the browser, and users can use their Instagram information to log in. The arrow keys can be used to navigate through the photos.
