France Vs Germany: World Cup Schedule, Start Time, Live Stream, TV & Radio

France will meet Germany in the quarter-finals of the World Cup 2014 at the Estádio Maracanã, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on July 4, at 12:00 PM ET.

The match will be available streaming live online through ESPN (subscription required) and ITV.

It will be broadcast on TV by ESPN2 and Univision, and available on ESPN radio and select local sports radio station.

Germany’s road to the the quarterfinals was not easy. They needed extra time to overpower Algeria. The German’s defense was lackluster and allowed the Algerians scoring opportunities. Germany attempted 22 shots in Round 16 and produced only a single goal.

Germany’s performance has declined during the last three games. They stunned Portugal 4-0 in their first game. Played Ghana to a 2-2 draw. Then limped over USA in a 1-0 victory.

But never count the Germans out. Their weapons include forward Thomas Muller (four goals), Mesut Ozil and Mario Gotzi. Manager Joachim Low can push the right buttons, at the right time, with Andre Schurrle, Lukas Podolski and Miraslav Klose.

On the other hand, France maintains an offensive arsenal that can immediately counter whatever defense the Germans applies. France is aggressive and fast.

For France, it will be important for manager Didier Deschamps to make tactical strategies as the game progresses. Antoinne Grizmann may be starting. Deschamps must utilize the presence of Patricice Evra and right fullback Jerome Boateng.

Which team will advance into the semifinals? Let me know what you think below!
