Fast & Furious 6 Game – Free For iPhone/iPad | iPod Touch 4 Unsupported

Fast & Furious 6 arrives on iOSThere’s only one week left before the highly anticipated street racing action movie Fast & Furious 6 hits theaters!

Now those with an:

  •  iPhone 4 and up
  • iPad 2 and up
  • an iPad Mini
  • or a 5th gen iPod Touch

running iOS 4.3 or later,  can kill the time until the movie’s release with Fast & Furious 6: The Game, for free.

The developers of the game, Kabam, have made it available as a freemium title. This means the game can be downloaded for free, but players will need to make in-app purchases for certain in-game features.

The gameplay includes the plot and cutaway scenes from the movie. The major attraction of the game? Top of the line graphics.

In the game, players will be pitted against an organization featuring skilled, and lethal, drivers on the streets of London.

A lot of high end vehicles will be available to drive, and players can unlock next tier upgrades with cash.

Fast & Furious 6: The Game is available as a free download on the App Store.

Right now, with just over 1500 ratings on the App Store, it has just 3 out of 5 stars. Several owners of the 4th gen iPod Touch are complaining in the reviews section about the lack of support for their devices.

While the 4th gen iPod Touch is listed as a compatible device under ‘requirements,’ there is a note from the developers directly under the description that says:

“Fast & Furious 6: The Game is not supported on the iPhone 3GS, iPad 1st Gen or iPod touch 4th Gen”
