CBS Cancels Two and a Half Men

CBS Cancels Two and a Half Men

The reign of Two and a Half Men is almost over, as CBS announced on Wednesday that the show’s upcoming 12th season will be its last.

CBS also released its schedule for the 2014-2015 season, with Two and a Half Men being given a 9 p.m. spot on Thursdays, where the show will have a “season-long event” for its final season.

In its announcement, CBS said that it had success last year by announcing the final season of How I Met Your Mother ahead of time, and they hoped the same would be true for Two and a Half Men.

Regarding the season-long event, CBS says that show creator Chuck Lorre “is very psyched about this; he’s got some great ideas and very big surprises.”

The network declined to comment on one of those big surprises would include the return of Charlie Sheen, who was replaced on the show by Ashton Kutcher in 2011.

CBS has not yet announced how many episodes the final season will have, but we do know that the final season of Two and a Half Men will get underway this fall.

Are you sad that Two and a Half Men is coming to an end, or is it about time? Let us know below.
