Best & Worst Super Bowl Commercials 2015 (Video Links)

Super Bowl XLIX is over and the only thing people will be talking about more than the game are the newest batch of Super Bowl commercials, which is why News For Shoppers compiled this list of the best and worst Super Bowl commercials of 2015.

This year’s batch was a little tamer than those in years past  but the good ones were really good and the bad ones were really bad (REALLY bad)- which means they all had viewers buzzing.

Here’s our list, complete with links to the ads so you can judge for yourself- so sit back and enjoy:

The Best

Coca-Cola #MakeItHappy Commecial: My top pick because it takes a stand against cyber-bullying without being preachy and manages to put a smile on your face.

Budweiser Commercial: Lost Dog: This sequel to last years Budweiser ad has viewers reaching for their Kleenex and more than lived up to it’s hype.

BudLight Commercial: Real, Live Pacman: This one had me smiling and took me back to my childhood as a guy gets a free Bud Light- then has to complete a real, life-sized Pacman board.  Great music courtesy of DJ Shadow and icredible graphics.

Doritos Commercial: When Pigs Fly: Adorable and hysterical commercial that shows just how far a kid will go for his Doritos.

BMW i3 Commercial: Newfangled Idea: This one of the more clever commercials of the night, using then and now film of Katie Couric and Bryant Gumble to show just how far technology has come.

Fiat 500X Commercial: The Fiat Blue Pill: I actually laughed at this one, where an old Italian man’s “blue pill” falls out the window (and after a long, impossible path) falls into the Fiat’s gas tank.

2015 Dodge Commercial #DodgeWisdom: One of the most poignant and ingenious commercials of the night it showcases men and women who are over 100 and still going strong.

The Worst

Avacado’s From Mexico: First Draft Ever: It had the potential to be funny, with the “First-Ever” football draft but it fell flat and left me disappointed.

Carnival Cruises Commercial: Come Back To the Sea: Should have been interesting and compelling, as it tied our existence  to the sea but the monotone voice-over made it just plain boring.

Nationwide Commercial: Make Safe Happen: Safety messages are great but this one was too depressing for a Super Bowl ad and made me want to change the channel.

Sprint Commercial: Super Bowl Apology: It was meant to be funny, but it was really annoying.

Squarespace Commercial: Dreaming with Jeff: Not really sure what they were trying to do here with Jeff Bridges, but whatever it was it didn’t work.

What did you think of the commercials?  Do you agree or disagree with our picks?  Comment below and tell us your thoughts.
