Batman: Arkham Knight- See You Next Fall?

Batman: Arkham Knight- See You Next Fall?

Fans hoping for a quick fix to the issues with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight are in for a big disappointment, as the game is not expected to return until the fall, at the earliest.

On Steam, a message currently up seems to confirm this, saying: “Batman: Arkham Knight will be available on SteamOS, Linux and Mac in Fall 2015.”

It appears the issues with the PC game are a lot more complicated than many hoped and will take some time to fix

Although Warner Bros. released patches over the weekend to address some of the critical issues, it is just a small step towards rectifying what is a monumental task.

In a post from the game’s community manager, it is evident there is a long road ahead until the game is ready to go again:

“[Developer] Rocksteady is leading our team of developers and partners as we work on the PC performance issues that players have been encountering.

The work is significant and while we are making good progress on improving performance, it will take some time to ensure that we get the right fixes in place.”

Those who bought a copy before it was removed can use the patches to improve game-play and fix various bugs and crashes; you see a complete list of fixes here.

A community spokesman also said they will continue to put out patches periodically to address issues for those still playing.

What do you think of Batman: Arkham Knight not coming back until fall for PC’s?  Weigh in with your opinion below.
