Apple Watch Has Been Released For Pre-Orders

Apple’s newest piece of technology, the Apple Watch, is now available to all of those who pre-ordered it on April 10th.

Unfortunately, if you’re determined to buy the watch in-store, I’m sorry to say that you’re out of luck.

The Apple Watch will not be sold in Apple Stores until some time in June. This is also when most post-launch orders are expected to be delivered.

The only retail stores currently reported to carry the device are a few fashion boutiques, including one named Maxfield, located in Los Angeles. A group of people had been stationed there since 8 am Thursday.

The Apple Watch itself is receiving positive reviews so far, but one issue is constantly brought up in them, and it lies in the battery.

The watch’s short 18-hour battery is designed to retain 80% of its original life at 1,000 complete charging cycles. This places its battery on a similar level to the iPad or MacBook. Considering that its intended purpose is to tell time, a watch that only lasts three-quarters of a day may be off-putting to some people.

Is the battery a minor or major issue? Will it ultimately prevent further sales?
