2016 Puerto Rican Day Parade: Time, Live Stream, Parade Route & Traffic Guide

The 59th annual National Puerto Rican Day Parade takes place this Sunday, June 12, in New York City and it promises to be another fun, star-studded event celebrating Puerto Rican pride and culture.

Running from 44th street to 79th, along 5th Avenue, this parade is lots of fun to watch thanks to all the lively music and dancers that are at the heart of the event

Singer Ednita Nazario will serve as Grand Marshal, with Magic Mike actor Adam Rodriguez serving as godfather of the festivities and Giselle Blondet as godmother.

Knick star Carmelo Anthony has been named King of the parade and will be joined by Rosario Dawson, who is Queen.

For those who want to catch all the action, here’s when and how to watch, in-person and on TV:

Parade Time: The parade will run from 11 A.M. (EST) until 6 P.M. (EST); get there early for a good viewing spot along the parade route.
