2015 New Year’s Eve TV Specials What’s On, What’s Streaming

Watching the ball drop live from Times Square in New York City on New Year’s Eve is a time honored tradition no matter where you are and who you’re with.

ABC, FOX & NBC are all airing specials on TV and streaming live to ring in 2015 and News For Shoppers has all the information you need so you won’t miss a second of the action.

Below you will find the air times, streaming options and a  list of performers for each channel, along with links to each of their sites or apps when you click on the name.

Times Square NYC, the official site of the event, has partnered with Ustream to bring viewers a free live stream and webcast starting Wednesday, December 31st at 6 P.M. (EST) and running until shortly after midnight.

You can access the live stream on your PC’s through TimesSquareNYC.org, Times SquareBall.net or Ustreamtv/2015.

You can also download the Times Square Ball app through iTunes or the Google Play Store.

In addition, ABC, FOX & NBC all have free streaming options too, which you will find below.

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2015‘ (ABC TV).  The show broadcasts live from NYC, Los Angeles and Nashville from 8 P.M. (EST) to 11 P.M. (EST), with a half hour break for local news, then resumes at 11:30 P.M. (EST) and runs until 2:15 A.M. (EST).

This is considered the most popular of all the specials and this  year it is once again being hosted by Ryan Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy in NYC and Fergie in L.A.

Live streaming  is available for free through ABC.go.com or on your mobile devices and tablets by downloading the WATCH ABC app from iTunes or the Google Play Store.

Both are free, but require you to log in using your existing cable provider.  Also, some areas of the country will not have live streaming, so check the ABC.go site to see if it’s available near you.

Performers: Taylor Swift, Florida Georgia Line, Elton John and MAGIC! from NY,  Idina Menzel, One Direction, Charlie XCX, Meghan Trainor, Jason Derulo, Iggy Azalea, Pentatonix, Rixton, Brantley Gilbert, Ella Henderson, Train & Nick Jonas from L.A. and Gavin DeGraw and Lady Antebellum from Nashville.

Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution 2015‘ (FOX TV). The show broadcasts live from Miami form 8 P.M.(EST) until 10 P.M. (EST), with an hour break for local news, then resumes from 11 P.M. (EST) until 12:30 A.M. (EST).

The show is being hosted by Mr. Miami and international recording artist Pitbull.

You can watch the live stream for free through FOX.com on your computers or on your portable devices by downloading FOX NOW through iTunes or the Google Play Store.

Theses services are free, but require you to log in with your TV provider for full access.

Performers: Enrique Iglesias, Fall Out Boy, Fifth Harmony, the Band Perry and Becky G.

New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly 2015‘ (NBC TV).  The show broadcasts live from NYC from 10 P.M. (EST) until 11 P.M. (EST), with a half hour local news break, then resumes from 11:30 P.M. (EST) until 12:30 A.M. (EST).

The hosts for this years show are Terry Crews, Ken Marino and model Chrissy Teigen.

Live streaming is available for free  on your PC’s through NBC.com or you can download the NBC app through iTunes or the Google Play Store.

As with the other streaming services you will need to log in using your existing TV provider.

Performers: Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams,  Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett, Blake Shelton and Seth McFarland.
