2015 MTV Movie Awards: Time, Live Streaming, Nominees, More

Time to break out the golden popcorn because the 2015 MTV Movie Awards take place tonight (Sunday,  April 12) live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

Here’s everything you need to know:

Show Time

The action starts at 3 P.M. (EST)/ Noon (PST)  with the special All Access Livestream from T-Mobile on MTV.com; the red carpet  airs at 7:30 P.M. (EST)/ 4:30 (PST) on MTV, followed by the awards at 8 P.M. (EST)/ 5 P.M. (PST).

Amy Schumer will host the awards and Jesse J and Kelly Osbourne will be working the red carpet.

The red carpet is available through Twitter’s Periscope app while the All Access Livestream and the awards can be streamed on your PC at MTV.com or on your smartphone or tablet using the MTV app for iOS, Android or Windows.

The All Access Livestream starts at 3 P.m. (EST)/ noon (PST) and gives fans an up close look at the awards, performers, nominees and more; there will be behind the scenes clips, interviews, videos and fan voting.

*No sign-in is required, but you will need to register  using a valid email address in order to access some features.

Appearances & Awards

This year’s show is going to be packed with big names, as the entire cast of “The Avengers” will be there, along with Kevin Hart, Mark Wahlberg, Channing Tatum,  Jennifer Lawrence and many others.

Along with traditional categories like Best Movie there are also fun awards like Best Scared-As-S**t Performance, Best Shirtless Performance (featuring last year’s winner Zac Efron), Best Kiss and Best WTF Moment.

There are also a couple of special awards being handed out this year: Robert Downey Jr. will receive the Generation Award, Shailene Woodley will get the Trailblazer Award and Hart will receive the Comedic Genius Award.

As for musical performers, Charli XCX, Fall Out Boy, TY Dolla $ign and Tinashe and Fetty Wrap will all perform.
