2014 World Series Game 5 Royals Vs. Giants : TV Schedule/Live Streaming/ Preview

The series is all tied up again after the Giants giant win in game 4 and now both teams are hoping to pull off a win in game 5 and be just one game away from winning it all.

Here is your TV schedule & live streaming info for game 5, followed by a preview of what to expect in game 5.

Coverage begins with the pregame show at 7:o0 P.M. (EST), followed by first pitch at 8:07 P.M. (EST) on Fox.

Fox has exclusive rights to the series and will be the only channel airing the games.

Live streaming will also be available for the first time ever through MLB.TV. This service is free for current MLB.TV subscribers, but will require a subscription for everyone else who is eligible.

You can access the live stream through your home computer or when your on the go from almost any device with the MLB.com AT Bat app, which is free to download.

Eligible subscribers can sign up for just $9.99 and will receive the first month of MLB.TV 2015 for free when they do.  This is a nice bonus for fans who’s teams are not competing in the series, as they can stream their home teams games next year.

In order to be eligible you must have a current subscription service with a qualifying Pay TV Partner.  The company’s that are participating are: Time Warner Cable, Verizon Fios, DIRECTV, Optimum, AT&T U-verse TV, COX, BrightHouse Networks, Buckeye, Arvig, WOW!, Suddenlink and Consolidated Communications.

Game 4 wasn’t even close, as the Giants blew the game wide open and beat the Royals 11-4, giving them the momentum heading into tonight’s game.

They also have an edge when it comes to pitchers as Madison Bumgarner, who has been nothing short of spectacular, takes the mound for them again.

Bumgarner is 3-1 with a 1.40 ERA and has been virtually impossible to beat: if he is on his game the Royals are going to need to find a way to either manufacture some runs or keep it close and try to get to the San Fran bullpen.

That means Royals starter James Shields, who has been as close to awful as you can get, needs to turn it around and quick.

Shields has a horrific 15.00 ERA and only lasted 3 innings in game 1, so he needs to  pitch the game of his life to give his team a chance.

Although games 6 & 7 (if necessary) will be in Kansas City the last thing the Royals want is to head home down a game and fighting for their lives.

I’m going to buck the odds and predict the Royals as the winners: Royals 4- Giants 3.
