Here is a preview of the women’s finals:

Serena Williams-vs-Caroline Wozniacki: match play not before 4:30 P.M. (EST), Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Wozniacki would appear to have no chance in this final, but with all the upsets we’ve seen, including one from Wozniacki herself when she ousted Maria Sharapova, it is impossible to count her out.

Still, she does have a lot against her: she has never won a major, she hasn’t been to a final since 2009 and she has lost 8 out of the 9 times she’s faced Williams.

She also does not have a commanding serve or a vicious swing and must rely on her consistency and strong groundstrokes to keep her in the game and help her steal some sets.

She has been playing some great tennis, but she will need to be perfect to have a shot here against Williams, who has looked strong, confident and unbeatable.

Williams in straight sets: 6-3, 6-3.

Here are the highlights from day 13:

In what can only be described as a stunning both Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer lost their semifinal matches. Kei Nishikori  eliminated Djokovic 6-4, 1-6, 7-6, 6-3, while Federer lost in straight sets to Marin Cilic 6-3, 6-4, 6-4.

This will be the 1st time since 2005 that a Grand Slam final will not feature Nadal, Federer or Djokovic.
